hello.
I am new here at the forum. i am from switzerland and i have a 98 prefacelift legnum vr4 and my first problem. i want today to install a new intercooler but the pipe on the right side goes 45 degree up. i see that anyone use to install 2 90 degree elbows and both pipes are straight. there are differences in the year of constructions ?
i thank you very much for your help.

sorry for my bad english /whip

There is a difference. I'm relatively sure that cars made before the end of 1998 are different from those made very late 1998 onwards. I think the difference is on the pipework travelling to the intercooler - the exit from the intercooler up to the throttle body is the same.

I hope you enjoy your time with the club and with your car! :D

yeah sounds like you have a facelift car the inlet to the intercooler is bent upward and makes it dificult to fit but if you can track down a hard pipe from a pre facelift car that makes it easier

thanks. i see these but by mine goes the pipe on the drives side 45 degree up. i will cut these and make two welding points for fitting on the pipe. i hope it works...
