Yes Evo 4/5/6 will fit & you can put a 3" one on as well.

Diffrent for every car. It will make the car more responsive.

Remember to get gaskets for it as well.

on it's own, not a lot, but it will make it slightly louder.

might make it slightly better in the high rev range just due to the amount of gas that has to flow through the exhaust and you are removing a restriction.

but don't expect a big difference. if you turn the boost up as well then you would see more of difference. (look at aboo extensive mod list) if he put a cat back on with all those mods still in place he would see a big difference in performance. and as an example only, so you could say fit a decat and gain 30-40 bph, but that is not true all you are doing is releasing the other mods to perform to there full potential. with out the other modes the decat will not make the engine produce any more power but but it will help release some of that trapped potential, if you have any.

As aboo says you will need gaskets and new stainless steel nuts, bolts washers and most important good spring washers. if you don't have the spring washers you run the risk of the nuts coming undone due to the constant heat/cooling cycles it goes through. the spring washer take up the expansion and contraction of the joint.

i bought my decat off peter m and its been in the boot for about 3 months and have not seen eny difference in power lol might put it under the the car and see if that works better :) i have been told by mitsu-tech that i should get about 30 to 40 % more power with a d cat on :)

Well, the standard exhaust is 2.25". I guess it depends on what you wish to do exhaust-wise in the future. And yes, it will fit.

That is essentially what I have done Karl. I put it on first. Then got downpipes, and now that I've got a 3" system, I changed the decat to a 3" too.
