kenwoods fine,
had one in the misses toyota few years back,
went well for the $$, took it out for an upgrade,

been in storage for a while, just put it in the ST last night
still works fine and makes boom boom :D

the only issue ive had with kenwoods (much older modles)
was the flexi wire from the terminals to the cone would break after a few months use.

Most subs are reasonable so long as you get the right box for it and the amp has adequate power. Ported boxes are an exact science and cannot just get chucked at a sub.

You need the model number so then maybe can tell you if it's good. JBL GT4's are menat to be good for the price.

Also look at Car Audio Direct for some ideas on what's available these days.

I don't rate any of Kenwoods products, especially. They tend to be higher on features and compromise the sound quality.

However, at that price, fit it somewhere, stick an amp on it and listen to it go bom bom bom and you're laughing.
