WTB: ST-R manual box

I'm now after a ST-R manual box (been advised the VR-4 item will not fit).

Does anybody have one or know of the whereabouts of one?

you want to convert an auto into manual?

You'll need the manual ECU (and possibly the engine/gearbox loom) too as the ST-R has a combined ECU for gearbox/engine...

argh. so need one of those too! I think I'll be lucky if I can even find the box though

Highly unlikely considering only ~500 manual ST-R's were made. You've got more luck of getting a 20ST box. I don't know how many 25ST's were made in manual, I'd guess maybe 500 to 1000?

my mate owns 1.. and you CAN use VR4 Gear.. We have Just converted Allans(Hicksy) to manual using vr4 drivetrain!!!
and using the auto ECU

i can get you an str manual convert kit but its not worth it,really just use vr4,1 less unit to change when you upgrade to a vr4
