Saw this jazz version a while back, its really really good. I was amazed how well he has synced it to the video. Ive seen Metallica a good few times, but best was in 1999, now a days they arnt the same, but to be fair even today (now theyve got the commercial st anger bollox out of their system) there stage show is just as good.

The apocalyptica stuff isn't bad.

I agree with about 99 or so being their best. S&M is simply awesome, but it needed Seek and Destroy, King Nothing and Fade to Black. Then you'd only ever need two CD's of music for the rest of time ;)

This maybe true, but as i was 8 at the time there wouldnt have been anyway i could have attended it!

To be honest though, of all the gigs and festivals ive been to, nothing and i mean NOTHING comes close to the epic greatness that was Pantera at the Barrowlands in 2001.

'No flying dragons', no over the top stage show, just pure brutality, loved it!
