Could someone with a SuperVR4 take some photos of the side skirts fitment for me? I have a set of fibreglass copies that I need to fit to my car, and I'm not sure if some extra bracketry is required.

I'll take some when I get home, should be home by about 1630.

Thanks Ryan. I'm hoping its not too complicated.

the super skirts fit in the same mounts as stock skirts,

depending on who made the copies, they will either bolt on,
or need brackets made to support the length of the skirt

I'll try and take some photos of the skirts tonight. They have an extra lip at the top edge compared to the stock ones, which looks like it sits in the door well between the chassis and the door. The bottom side looks like it sits lower than the chassis, but I could be imagining that.

Any luck Ryan?

I have the skirts off my Super at the moment so took some pics as it will show more than can be seen with them fitted to the vehicle.

Cheers
Pierre

Thanks Pierre! Any chance you could measure the dimensions of the brackets so I could recreate them?

OK I have had a go at measuring the brackets, they are not flat but have folded edges for added strength. If the depth of your skirts are not the same as genuine Super ones then my dimensions will no work for you.

Cheers

That's great, thanks Pierre. The skirts I have are made from a pair of molds that were taken directly from mitsi skirts, so they should be exactly the same. I can in fact see bulges in the skirts from where the bracket holes of the original skirts left dents in the molds.

Pierre, if you could do the same for the upper brackets, I would be VERY grateful!
