Alarm Fob Problem

Had Galant nearly 2 months now and I have managed to snap the rubber that clips onto the key ring. Cobra alarm, i think i have seen it referred as the "alien" type fob.

Typical previous owner had them 7 yrs and kept them whole, I manage to snap both within 2 months. Anyone else have this problem, how do i go about fixing these?

Wow! That's a result!

When this happened to both the fobs on my V6, I utilised a small paperclip! Bodge-tastic! :D
