Whatever tickles you, but I personally find this machine awesome to look at ....... and I guess performance may even outstrip our lovely Galants :sad3:

Ford Shelby GR-1, V10, 6.4 litre - 605 bhp :-D

ive only got to hear the name Shelby+engine an i drool :wow: to think they started life because of the british built Cobra.......(Drool'n again) another very nice motor

Only the chassis was British-built, sourced by Shelby from the surplus stock of a failing car manufacturer named Ace. These were shipped to the States, stiffened by Shelby and his team to take the huge torque, and mated to a Ford-built short-block V8 to create something that just walked away from the class-leading Chevys of the day :-b
