Hi,
The standard cobra alarm for my v6-24 works fine for a few days then randomly plays up and seems to go into the diagnostic setting or something similar. The LED on the dash comes on solid and then cant be turned off with the fob. It takes a lot of messing with the override key to turn it off. Sometimes the alarm has started sounding whilst I've been driving along!
Could it be the fob causing this as when I press the button the little led flashes very fast for a while but I would expect it to be a solid light.
After I've got it all turned off after one of its episodes I can often get it working normally for a while until it happens again.
Is there anything I can do or is it a case or getting a new alarm?
