Karl, you've got a Super so your dials a uber-sexeh anyway. Please dont mod an original Super dash :)

This is the ultimate proof that you spend too much time tinkering and not enough time driving. Have you all noticed where the petrol gauge needle is pointing? /pan

(Good work though bud!)

That's not normal! Fuel gauge should always be reading in the lowest 1/8th or even to the point where the fuel light is on. There must be something wrong with the car. I think the turbos are on the way out /yes

I think Quinton you could focus on getting rid of the red first. You might be able to 'wash' it off using meths or something. I don't know what this is going to do to the black stuff on the face though. Once you have the red removed from 7000rpm upwards you could get stuff like this:

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Building-renovation/Building-supplies/Other/auction-291110638.htm

And simply cut the yellow and red to shape and glue it to the back of the gauges.

i take it that the mod for the colour change is to replace the cold cathode tubes in the back of the dash from white to blue.

not sure how much work is involved in doing it but it does look good. i have removed the clocks/dash before but not stripped the PCB off the back of it though, i suppose that is the next step. i have to relight my fuel gauge and temp gauge at some point so that will be a pcb off i think.

so i will look forward to the write up.
