I'm replacing the clock and was trying to work out which wire is which in the harness. Just need a +ve and -ve for a gauge I'm putting in there. Any pointers appreciated as it doesnt seem to feature in the workshop manual.

Thanks

Sorted.
Just for the record black is -ve as you would expect. Blue is +ve, also guess that the other two do the same too.

black negative, one is constant power, one is accessory power and the last is the remote so the clock dims when the lights are turned on

How do you get the clock out to repair/replace on VR4 2000 model, please?

Pull it up very hard! It's very difficult and may need "persuading" with a flat blade on eaither edge - its held in by clips but they are very very firm. If it feels like the clock is about to break its nearly out!

Get the rear clips up first, then pull the clock fast upwards... But yeah, it feels like breaking something and sometimes it's really what is going on /yes
