Which bulb to go for?

Looking at doing the A/C light change.
Have it all out and apart and have inspected one of the lights.
I remember reading something regarding a direct fit replacement for alternative colours.
Anyone have any tips on where to find these?

Iv looked through the LED conversion one but was wanting to find out about the direct replacement ones, other wise this goes on the backburner till i have more funds

just did it myself

screen X2 T5 i got white
button X2 T4 i got red

When i can bothered im going to take out the "screen LEDS" and file the top of them and hopefully to remove the "LED spot' as you can see..but i can live with it now..
choose wotever color u like...
ebay dirt cheap...the whole thing cost like 10 dollars....took like 20 mins

cheers for that. I see now the bulbs come out of the black plastic twist-fitting thing.

Those are direct replacements, the bulb should just come out of the fitting. I seem to recall seeing others available in NZ that would fit straight in.

Dang you beat my edit.
Have one apart now - Has a normal looking LED with the two wires, cant seem to see on the Jcar site the same thing, but I'll pop into one of the retailers tomorrow and see what i can find
