If my company suddenly switch to floating holidays, then you're on! Otherwise I'm afraid to say I can't.

That would truly be an awesome couple of weeks!

That sure is a lot of cash to enter... then add fuel!! :rolleyes5

But what a rush!! And the VR4 would be you ideal winter rally car - all those rear drive porkers and prancing horses would be getting into trouble.

Dave, you got a tow bar right? How about charging each time you pull a car out of a ditch ! Make your money back in no time!

I'd love to do it but we'd end up getting divorced deciding who was doing the driving :-D :rolleyes5

Could always try to get some sort of sponsorship ? Not necessarily from a company, maybe do a charity thing were say 50/50 split between costs for the event and remainder to a charity ?

I think the vr4 would be a very poor choice for this. Far too thirsty and too small a tank. I know that some chaps who's highly tuned gti-r broke down and was replaced by a hired renault clio managed to come 5th in one of the legs recently as they didn't need to stop as often for fuel as the thirstier cars.

Don't know what the right car would be, though - maybe one of these highly tuned diesels?

I was thinking the VR4 would be fine with an extra 20 or 30 gallon fuel tank!

Sure it would cost a fortune in fuel but think of the fun!

You have a tow bar - make yourself a huge tank on wheels and tow it :-D

Love to do this sort of event but this one's just too costly - sorry

You also have a Legnum - save some work [and go faster !] by just filling the boot with jerry-cans !!

My mate has done this a few years back in his GTi-R [not one that broke down !] and is doing it again this year, being filmed by ITV to be on telly :-b
