it has a very intimitant missfire, but it feels like it drops 2 cylinders when it does it. did it a couple of times yesterday but is fine today. id say a coil pack is starting to break down

Part number: MD363547

If you have your chassis code, I could look it up.

Airtrek is MD363552

Amazingly close in part number! I have no idea how close or how far away it might be though.

Applicable models only show as CU2W and N73WG, which is a 2000ish RVR turbo. Best to get parts from the 1999-2002 ones.

Hold on... interestingly enough, the part name is the same for the Evo 7's as it is for the Airtreks. They don't tie in as applicable models though.

Md325052 can you check that part number please?

That's the part number for a CM5A Lancer GSR, doesn't look quite the same but it might fit.

Just did some checking... seems that the same part number is shared across the VR4, Airtrek, RVR and 1998 GSR!

I'm just going through trade me looking and getting part numbers lol
one more to try if you don't mind FL0162 - 9120
that's the only number he can find on it. That's from a evo 7

that's promising! Anyone got one I can try by chance?

Wait, CAPS had a fail moment lol. The Evo 7 and RVR/Airtrek ones match, but the Legnum ones don't. If it's off an Evo 7 it will fit.

Sweet cheers for your help dude! I'll buy the evo 7 one!

ahh crap - i have just been told it could be the cam position sensor that is faulty! mitsi on the shore replace nearly one a day! plus it give similar symptoms as a missfire....

only thing is, i thought if it was that it would through the engine light?
