Its been on MLR for a few days now. The EVO owners brother was driving and inexperience caused him to lift off. Classic example of power on NOT power off!
He did say he was on a cool down lap. He is getting a bit of stick on there though.

By pit lane exit, Evo rounded the corner, got lift-off oversteer and collided with a BMW leaving the pits.

Spa.
I've seen a few on that part of the circuit over the years. There was a Scoob that must have done exactly the same there the year we went.

Feel for them both. It's not easy being a perfect driving robot!
Shame the BMW wasn't looking at the Evo at the right moment, he could have braked then the Evo would have only collided with the wall. Still a shame though.

Give it throttle and steer away from collision...
Car should do the rest...?

Throttle or not, steering always helps. That chappy appears to have the steering wheel centred from the point of traction loss to the point of impact.

I remember being in that situation on Kyalami, an old Gp circuit in South Africa. Was in a huge slide on a long right hander. I'd gone in too fast and I backed off as soon as I got into the corner. The back was starting to come round. But as I turned into the slide, I felt like I was going to fall off the outside of the track. I tried putting on just a tiny bit of throttle, and hey presto - it put a little more weight on the back wheels and the slide stopped - I was amazed!
