apparently it is cheaper to get a secondhand lid and sprayit rather than fix the big dent in mine.

so does anyone know of any ...

im gonna ring the guys on ebay that are breaking the vr4 and the v6. will both of these fit my car as it is only a GLS

thoughts please

avoid japs, they're just round the corner from work, been in a couple of times and found it was cheaper to buy new parts, plus i've seen first hand how they remove parts from cars-big hammers, grinders etc, a lot of stuff they have on shelves was in better nick when it was on the car.

VX has a boot lid that you could exchange........a big dent is not a big concern to us I dont think..............

Project VX which is essentially a brand new car has a boot lid that could be exhanged for yours and some cash. Basically we are building a racer and a dented boot lid will not really matter once we have kitted it up to the max and carbon fibred everything!

I am sure the other interested parties would agree to getting some cash in to keep us moving slowly in the right direction!

Bal - if I were you I'd offer the VX team money to swap your boot lid on sunday.

I have no idea if this suits anyone - but they have a lid in much better condition than yours!

As a guide, I think most scrappies would want £70-£100 for the boot lid, so if you agree a price everyone will win!

just got one from japs for £85 delivered to my door and it is blue so might be the same colour as my car.

Thank you for the offer. and thank you to SIan for making me aware of this.
