basically as per title.

im forever finding new tunes and my favourite song changes from week to week, month to month.
at the moment, i just love this tune "Josh Gabriel presents Winter Kills - Deep Down (Official Music Video) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NT9qMTX6c9k&feature=related)" but this is the short version. this is the better, longer "original 9min mix" Josh Gabriel pres. Winter Kills - Deep Down (Original Mix) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKW9xztDLNc). this song is just so addictive and chilled.

last week i was hooked on "The Prodigy - Stand Up (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yhR_-htMclo)". this is the opening song on the film "Kick Ass".

so....whats you favourite song at the moment? post a link to it. and just maybe, we could find some new tunes that we could get hooked on.

and here's another idea for someone who is talented enough, if we can get enough tunes, someone could mix them together and we could end up with an exclusive "Club VR4 Mix". never mind the "Top Gear" CD's, we can have our very own...lol

I seem to get a different song stuck in my head each day.

Today it was Plan B, the song called something like "Said I love You"

Bored with it now, though.

My taste in music is rather eclectic, with a gravitas towards symphonic metal.

This is an interesting one, because if I'd read what Dune originally did (Dancey,Ravey,Thud-thud-Thud music of pantsness), I would have given it a miss... But this is rather different from their usual stuff and the piano is truly haunting...

In the car I have a CD of Within Temptation - The 'Mother Earth' album. From that, this is one of my favourites:

The Gaslight Anthem - Say I Won't (Recorgnize) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ya8eaXohmKU

Then again, any other song by The Gaslight Anthem could be included. Just got back from a Jay - Z gig, so any old classic hova would do the job for me as well!

I will listen to almost anything but prefer classic rock (gotta love Fleetwood Mac). Anyone else have the radio on at work & fed up with kings of leon - sexes on fire, journey - don't stop believing & alicia keys - new york part 2? I swear these get played at least 4 times per day each!!

Anyways, i have just downloaded this album from iTunes

http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/damn-honey/id372224233?i=372224360&ign-mpt=uo%3D4

'Outside looking in' by Simon Fagan. Simon is the younger brother of a good friend of mine all through school back in Ireland. He is doing really well and think by the standards of this album is going to do even better!. Its now firmly embedded in my iPod.

This song of it is soooo catchy and you will find yourself singing along real quick. And the fact that the video is shot at my local chip shop back in Navan is funny for me!

Anyways, i encourage ye all to have a listen!

the easiest way to post a link on here, is to just copy and paste the link into your post and the forum will do the rest.

on some sites, you have to post the link, by using the "Insert Link" button (under the smiley face) or you have to enter the actual web code to make the link into a hyper link. it's easy when you know the codes. google it. if i can master the basic codes, im sure anyone can.

James Holden: Balance vol 5. Found it for a quid and think its great. Interesting electronic music without being too clever (and sometimes irritating) like Autechre. Wouldnt mind a new Boards of Canada album but think they are dead.
