As the title states.
My battery is knackered in one and me dangly has broken in the other!
Probably a stupid question but is it just a case of replacing the battery or will I have to be doing this key fob sync thing?

Cheers in advance

Depedns what alarm you have. Cobra? If so, for the broken one, you can replace the case by buying the following: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Cobra-Car-Alarm-New-Style-Remote-Fob-Key-Case-/290423588971?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item439e98486b and just swapping the circuit board over.

And I believe in the case of the one with the dead battery, you can just replace it and then you'll need to hit the lock/unlock button when with the car within a certain amount of time.
