thinking of installing a oil temp gauge for my transmission do i need any special connectors senders ect or is there such speific gauge and where bouts do i connect it to ?

You can use a regular engine oil temperature gauge. There are a couple of methods for where to connect the temperature sensor: You can tap the gearbox casing (too scary for me!), there might be an existing temperature sensor point that can be used (not sure about that) or the easiest would be to tap into one of the gearbox cooler lines (the two upsidedown U-shaped pipes just to the right of the radiator :upsidedow). In-line connectors are available on the net - might see if I can find an eBay link later.

I've been looking at doing the last option myself, just not got round to it.
