Evo gearsets also fit - maybe rebuilding would be cost effective?

I would take it to Ralliart and get them to take a look at it. They can get all of the parts individually and are reasonably priced.

sounds good ill contact them today,
im thinking the spline gear has fallen off and is now sitting on the magnet on the bottom of the box
