error code 12

both engine managment light and tcl light is illuminated
getting error code 12=air flow system systematic
wtf dose this mean ???
this has happened since ive swapped my mushroom filter to a stock box
also error code 65 tps system 13h-7
again since putting box

done the ecu rest dissconected batterry for halfhour
only fitted stock box inplace of mushroom filter

had battery dissconnected for 5.5hrs and managment light is still on arrrgggg

unplug the maf and re-plug it back it , I bet it is not fully home or you knackered it up

ive messed with this plug tbh but it seems ok or do you mean the maf box fingiemajig

no the 7 pin plug that connects to the maf , to which you have connected the air box too

if i unplug it while engine is running you can't really tell a differnce till you plug it back in the revs alter slightly

Did the MAF come with the air box, or the one from the pod? Take it out of the car, and give it a shot of carby/MAF cleaner, let it dry, then reinstall it.
Otherwise it might be stuffed.

65 on tcl light
thinking may be the ecu aint understanding wtf is all this cold air all bout or as nj has said maybe the maf plug
and tcl light has come on before i messed about wiggled a few wires and tapped the grey cylender and aint come on since
i don't thiink the two are related any way but obvously i aint 100%

This is for your TCL code 65. Note the title says code 12 - but that's cos it's from a UK manual - it's actually code 65 in the jpnz one.

The jpnz & UK manuals are both in the members section - use them.

Babelfish & the like are sometimes not useful with technical stuff. What I do is Babefish it & if you get bollocks find something in the translation that sensible/unique & search for that in the UK version.

I chose " 20° " from the translated text, searched & hit this - it's quiet easy to tell if you've got the right one by inspection are their identical except for the text (also the jpnz version will have english text in it too like APS, TPS, etc.)


Anyhow, back to your problem - it might have something to do with when you said "what's this for??", pulled off a vacuum hose & gunned the fook out of your engine. That's just a guess tho.

11/10 NJ /notworthy not quite the plug put a pin that the plugs in to the plug i must of bent then 3rd pit from left when reconnecting the maf /duh
but guess what now it keeps stalling again chaeked the vacume hoses no splits /pale
