Shift point in tip mode...

Hi guys,

Just got my vr4 and was playing a little in tiptronic mode Yesterday.

Bizarrely in 3rd and 4th it would pull up to about 4th revs then peter off... Didn't do it in 1st or 2nd and when i was in auto mode it would happily pull all the way in all gears when i tried, any explanation?

I don't quite get what you mean. Did it change at 4000rpm or do you mean that the power reduced above 4000rpm?

The engine should behave no differently in tip to full auto, as long as the revs/throttle are at the same point in the same gear.

The power dropped at 4k rpm's.... Will try again later and see if it does it again....

The power should increase up to 5500rpm or so and then tail off quite a bit once you're past 6000rpm.
