Won't the key open the lock, or is it the alarm that's the issue?

Key will open the car K, but that will set the alarm off.
It's always been a bit tempremetal, but this time it's refusing to open :(

If your daughter is anything like mine in the morning she won't remember which airport until you nearly get to the wrong one.
