Went to repco to get a price for an o2 sensor - $200! wasnt quite expecting that much, may as well go for a wideband setup.
Is there somewhere cheaper I can get a standard replacement o2 sensor at around 100$ or less?

no, sadly not, unless you can get trade,
thats the sorta price you will have to pay,

the most basic wideband (no gauge) still close to $300

uh, when I was getting the one for the Levin about 1-2 years ago it turned out to be cheaper to get it overseas from the states. took about 10 days to arrive, but only cost me ~110 inc. shipping. Could be worth looking into (think I actually got the link off amazon).

p.s. it was a 4-wire too, so should be indicative of the price for one for a galant..

I found this place a week or so ago. Have not ordered yet. Still have some fears about it getting caught in the customs. Will not be that cheap then.

yep im going to look at getting something like the Innovate wideband without the guage to start off @ $285 and just use the narrowband output. Would like a PLX unit but at this stage its just to far out of my price range

just so you know the innovate is very sensitive to earthing and requires self calibration, much harder to setup,

you can buy the plx without a gauge.

and its cheaper to buy a plx of ebay (new), rather than direct
