im not sure how much i trust a company with such a diverse range of products. autoglym for example specialises in car products but JML bring out all sorts of stuff. has anyone used their stuff on their car and would give an opinion on what they provide?

the reason i am asking is THIS (http://www.jmldirect.com/Scratch-Remover-PG8869/#addReviewsDIV) which i spotted in asda for £9.97 while i was buying yet more cleaning stuff

Why buy something you are unsure about for £10, when the more trusted and tested brand name products are generally cheaper. Meguiars Scratch X for instance is £6.95 at cleanyourcar.co.uk.

meguaiars products are particularly good for a highstreet brand.

i persoanlly would rate them over pretty much all of the AG line up. (i spend many hours a week detailing my car!)

for the next step up from megs i would recommend visiting www.detailingworld.com and looking into zaino products for example.

admittedly i am going nuts with this car but i am limited with what i have to work with. there are serious flaws in the paintwork and the rear arches will need doing. the plan is to get them done next year and get a full respray in the same colour. then i might look into more specialised brands but for the time being, off the shelf products will do and i have always favoured autoglym so i am slowly working towards having only autoglym in the shed while i use up the other brands
