Peeps, please help...

I have looked through the How-to's and Article's, to no avail.
Not sure abou thte rest of you, when I have mine in reverse I get that horrid "I'm a big truck, backing up" beep. Only it can't be heard outside the legnum..
Now I figure if it can't be heard outside, why on earth should I have to listen to it...

How do I remove it?

I think its a very good safety device for what is a very BIG and very POWERFUL vehicle. Imaging if you were driving and while at standstill in traffic, you inadvertently shifted to reverse - yes I know you have to go past the auto clicky button - but on the chance you inadvertently did, it, the moment you put your foot down you slam into the car behind you.

I really like that feature and have retained it even with my manual conversion. I now know I have properly selected reverse gear when the beep comes on. Some cars (my old one) had sticky reverse gears and needed to be disengaged and then re-engaged to get reverse.

Not owning a manual, I must ask if they do the same when reverse is engaged?

/lol As John said, mine is a pretend manual. As it 'used' to be auto, I had a reverse beeper. When I got the conversion done, I retained the beep as its a feature that I like.

My auto conversion also beeps.

It really doesn't bother me TBH. How often and for how long do you reverse?

when the wife first heard the reverse beep, she instantly started laughing. the thing is, i knew exactly why she was laughing.

she then gave a rendition of lee evens from one of his dvd's "WARNING! vehicle revering"...not sure which dvd it on...but it is funny.

John not to be funny mate but...

"Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms. "

You have to trust me here I really did go through the How to & Articles!
I found the one to stop the
"Oi! Your door is open..." Beep. Not sure about messing with the barrel though.

This is the only article referring to reverse beeping;
