Ok you lot that live in the south if you have ever been camping where did you go thats not miles away from london?

Im trying to go this friday night coming but theres hundreds of places.
A recommended one would be good.

Also if there are activities near by, horse riding, boat trips or any other sh1t would be betterh....or near a nice place to wander round get dinner etc.

Cheers in advance.

Also whats the cheapest place to rent a car from?

Lea Valley Park (http://www.leevalleypark.org.uk/), it's in London and has lots of activitie's...........

Debden Campsite (http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=1697) again very close to East London, very nice and I have camped there before, unfortunately it lacks the activities but I'm there are plenty of bits locally...... it also seems to one of the few which allow fire's (in the designated field)..........

Hi Alan

I havent stayed at Lea Valley but I was on their internet site at the weekend and it looks really nice......... If the choice is between Sewardstone or Edmonton, I would probably go for the Sewardstone campsite, but i havent stayed at either........

I have stayed at Debden on numerous occasions and it's lovely but like I said it doesnt have the activities that Lea Valley does.......

If you can make it down to the New Forest then you will have more than enough to see and do.

Well you won't be dissapointed mate. Find a campsite deep in the forest if you can. Plenty of peace and quiet but still lots to do when you want to explere the area.

If you're New Forest bound you're not far from the wonderfully named 'sandy balls'. It's actually fairly well placed for things to do despite the comedy name!!

This is one of the best I have found...

I go camping at least 3 times a year.
Park Farm Caravan & Camping (http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=1533)

The number for the gate is 1066
Gus come round about 12.00 to collect the fees for that day.
You are controlled open fire's allowed open fire's.

Just a couple of shots of the Site and one of the actual castle..

Now I come to think of it, it might not be such a bad place for a club over night.

Let me know what you think about that idea.
