thermostat

i noticed that my engine bay was getting rather hot, even thought the temp stayed smack in the middle. and with the hot weather hadn;t really clicked that my fans were never coming on..anyhow short story the thermostat is not working.
found on ebay for cheaper than camskill etc £8.50 ish incl delivery

well did the thermo yesterday and what a ball ache..took off wrong part..pain removing hardpipes etc..but now whole rad works and fans come on ...no more egg cooking on the bonnet for me

Yep. I swapped my one at the weekend & its a total ballache of a job considering its only 2 bolts hold the housing on! :(
I thought initially it would take 10 minutes but ended up taking the best part of an hour by the time I bled it etc
