Hi Guys!

Ok my power steering is a bit noisy when cold and on full lock, now in previous cars this has been a sign of low oil level or poor/old oil, on my Z32 I had the garage change the fluid and it was sweet as after, well I'm thinking I'm gonna do this myself this time...

My questions are how do you drain the fluid on a 1997 Legnum VR4, how do you refill and how much fluid does the system hold?

Cheers, Jason

No one know the answer to this one?

On my 200SX that squeeled on full lock until I tightend up the power steering belt tensioner.

On the VR-4, anytime on full lock I hear a gassy sound but I don't believe it is anything to worry about.

What exactly do you hear?

Yep the same gassy sound all the time when it's cold and only on full lock once it's warmed up, there probably isn't anything at all to worry about as I can see the level in the feeder tank is fine, my Z32 used to empty the tank over a month due to a leak, I just thought it wouldn't do any harm in draining and replacing the fluid...

I just need to know the best/easiest way to drain it.
