Before. It was worse than this as well as since those pics were taken I had done about 60km of high speed gravel road driving after it had been raining, about 600km of normal road driving and a few skids on some fields :) It had been at least that bad since January.

And afterwards. No I haven't blackened the tyres, I don't beleive in it. The only reason I clean my cars is for weight loss and aerodynamic performance, not for looks :)

Matt, I was thinking of taking the wheels off and cleaning in the arches but it started to get dark. I might do that this saturday though.

Mike, I might get around to it this weekend. We are having one of our regular meets, so there may be a few more photos then.

Do the addition of mud flaps make no difference or is it just that you like driving through fields?/rally

Andy, the garage floor is flat, must be a trick of the camera :)

Kryton, if you look at the very first picture they clearly don't make much difference at all!
