Thought this may amuse some of you. In-car video [taken on my £10 micro-cam] from Anglesey track day 30/6/2010.

My tyres had heated up a lot just prior to this and started to squeel [Yoko AD48's.]

It`s not the tyres it was that very very brief rain shower you had around 5.40 when you had to put your wipers on.

Lovely day for a spin (ER Excuse the pun)

I wondered why they started up (must have been set to auto !)

I didn't have the foggiest idea how to turn them off at the time, as you can tell.

That particular corner is a tricky swine. Concealed from view, until you hit the apex, is the pit-lane/ track entry lane. The lane is marked on the tarmac and you have to 'keep off.'

This causes a lot of drivers, especially those of us not familiar to the circuit, to alter their racing-line mid-corner !

At least on open-pit trackdays, I was told, is often the case.

That MR2 was supercharged, b.t.w. and sounded like a jet-engine

I drove slowly after spinning for a very good reason [it seemed.]

I heard and felt a very loud 'wubb, wubb, wubb, wubb, wubb, wubb' noise as soon as I got moving again. It gradually got louder and louder, so I went slower and slower.

Racking my brains as to it's cause, I was certain that I had shredded a tyre or ripped something apart on the drivetrain . . . .

I pulled into the pits, sh****ng myself as to how I'd manage the 200 miles journey back home afterwards.
As I got out of the car, engine still running, I heard the noise get even louder !!

I looked up to see two big, fat, chunky helicopters, flying very low overhead !!

Dohhhhhhh !

you entered the corner neutral with no power on , you applied power mid corner and the car stared to go and you lifted off the power causing lift of oversteer .

Looks a nice track
