Hi all

Looking for the Kph - Mph Converter in my VR-4, any ideas on where they could have possibly fitted it?

Thanks

Got one fitted, just the speedo isn't working so trying to find the fault. Do you think it will be behind the dash clocks?

It depends which kind of converter is.Usualy is behind the dash clocks,if you remove the clock you'll see there 3 plugs.Remove gently the first and second one starting from right hand side and there have to be the converter.

Either behind the clocks or above the speed sensor on the gearbox. I haven't seen any in other locations.

I've had a look in the enginer bay by the sensor but it now looks as though it's behind the clocks.......How do i get behind them, not to great at dismantling dashes ha.

2 screws pointing upwards in the smooth black plastic between the steering wheel and the clocks - then it pulls forwards and eventually releases from the super-strength mitsubishi clips. I can't remember the clocks themselves, but they clip out in the same way - were there any screws though? Not sure..

The clocks are fixed with 4 screws, just undo them and you can pull it out.

Thanks all, all fixed and sorted.

The convertor was by the gearbox in the end, now behind the dash.

Thanks again

sorry to raise from the dead, does any one have any pictures of the location, as i have had my clocks out and could only see the 3 plugs that the cluster conects too, and there was nothing soldered on the back of the cluster, ive also had a look down around the gearbox, but couldnt spot it.

Pics any one?
