Well after a successful 90mins of blasting up and down the A38, we finally managed to get the optimum boost settings for Sean's manual Legnum VR4 and peaked at a max 315ps !

However, this was achieved at a slight overboost of 1.03 bar so we knocked it back a notch and now she is running around 306-309ps at around 5900rpm - not bad considering his best previous was 265ps ;)

Just need to run her in a slightly higher ambient temperature (13c tonight) to see if it peaks any higher under these conditions.

Nice one Gents, Pity I couldn't be there to see that. Must have been a good 90 mins !! And a tank of fuel? ;) :-D

Believe it or not it was just over a 1/4 of a tank - a lot of the 90 mins was spent pulling on and off the A38 to change boost settings and avoid being spotted by "you know who" ;)

The cooler the better :) (assuming equal humidity)

Yeah, could have worded that better - mean't need to see if the boost spikes higher under warmer conditions and if so will need to knock her back another notch or two
