View Full Version : Abs Rings Found For Vr4..!!!

Hi Guys,

Just thought I would share this with you all, I was requiring new ABS rings for my Gallant VR4 the other month and I am sure that you are all aware that you have to change the complete shaft. costing approx £450 each....:sick:

But I was able to send the old ABS Ring to a company down in England and they measured them and added the type of Vehicle onto there database. I got 3 new ABS rings for £95 Delivered within 2 days..!!! they just required a little heat and just fell into place on the Shaft.

Saved me a fortune...!!!!!

Heh, you don't need to buy shafts at all, they can be easily removed from any axle and popped into place.

Some people would rather have new than 2nd hand - and at that price, 2nd hand might end up being more expensive.

I've got a couple lying around, Brad - I guess you have too, but there aren't that many of them.

A new axle is relevant sure, but a second hand abs ring won't be any different to a new one.

How many 2nd hand ABS rings are for sale though, Brad? And a 2nd hand shaft is potentially more than 1 new ABS ring now.

Hey there,

i´m searching for drive shafts front. I got an vr4 build in 2000 and both in front are broken. I only can drive with about 100Km/h and then all is shaking.

It´s so hard to get new one in germany, so i hope u can help me?!

It will be also helpfully if u can say me the part-numbers of these parts.

So please help me.

Normal ABS rings from other EA0 Galants will fit fine.

Emailed Exmol recently too about abs reluctor rings. Apparently their Evo8 rings fit the Vr4.

Don't forget, fronts are slightly smaller inner diameter than the rears.
