Foglight in tailgate cluster on FL

Monday it was time for MOT for my car,so I have had to have a working rear foglight.
My car beeing a ``official Ralliart``import,originaly it has the rear foglight fitted in rear bumper,from where,thanks for preovious owner it was removed and the hole fixed,but replaced with a external big and uggly one,wich was fitted just for MOT.
I did a few PFL`s rear foglight to be fitted in tailgate cluster,rewiring the brakelights as foglight,but this time thinking to do something different.

I`ve drilled 22mm holes on both sides .

Took two reversing light sockets,and grinded down the pins all around to fit the hole.The LED bulb later was changed with 21W bulbs,cose they wasn`t enough bright.

Fit the socket and all cluster back to tailgate and did the wiring.

I did something that will look similaron mine - but I used the original bulbs and a relay. I think officially mine is an MOT fail, because the fog light filaments are also used as brake light filaments when the relay is not switched. From the outside, it will look the same as yours, Csaba.

I like it. You have Japanese style tail and brake lights with no ugly foglight, in the bumper or hanging off it. :thumbsup:

Thanks Nick,I don`t think that yours is a MOT fail,the brakelightst in the rear clusters and the middle one is more then enough.
A few Pfls had wired same,but without relay,just cut the brakelights wire and conect the foglight`s one .Pass the Mot without problem
