My boss is considering getting an A8

towards the end of this year. I Didn't even know that Audi did an A8. Anybody know much about them?

You talking the new A8? I did the training course on it a couple of weeks ago. $240,000 worth of car! You can spec it up to be $244,000 and then an extra $15000 on top of that if you want the 1600w 19 speaker sound system!

It is a truly amazing machine the new A8. it has 3km of wiring loom in it to run all the gizmos!

In nzwe are only getting the 4.2 diesel at the mo. I can't remember off the top of my head the kw of the engine but it produces 600nm of torque , so it is nothing to be sneezed at!

The high tech stuff in it like it's crash avoiding systems are awesome

Took me out in it once, he didnt thrash it, but when he pushed it on m-way it was extremely rapid

Mo (zedy1) also has one. His is the A8L with the 4.0TDi (long wheel base with the twin turbo diesel) engine!

I bought a 4.0 v8 tdi a month or so ago... its great.

Very comfy, decent on the fuel and lots of toys...

Im still finding things each week that I didnt know about.
