When it comes to ICE, all i know is a Pint glass full ice with Magners poured over it is Spot On for Muggy Summer evenings :runkest:

But when it comes to the In Car stuff /dunce

I have the factory set up in my VR..
Double Din head unit with Factory Amp, Sub and 10 disc changer in the boot.

My question is ?

I want to update my head unit to summat a bit more Err ! Upto date !! /Poms

So whats compatible with the OE Amp and Multichanger ? Or am i gonna have to either stick with the OE headunit, or change the whole shebang :stars:

TIA

Cheers

Not too sure on the wiring on the stock units that came with the amp, sub and changer, but most likely you'd need to change the whole setup.

Do you know if the amp powers the door speakers? If it does, then definitely a big job to change. If the amp only powers the sub, then it may be much easier; head unit and part rewire the amp to reuse the existing amp.

Any way you go, I doubt the existing changer would be compatible with any of today's stereos, so you would lose the use of that.
