Might be a stupid quiestion... But... I DON'T GET IT!
What's all those "redlines" doing in speedos? Gear change stuff?? Like here for example:

Derek, it isn't that. The lines will always be at those same speeds. No car has a max speed in 1st of 30kmh unless it is very small and weak, ie a 2cv might :)

Yeah that last one deffo is speed limits in Europe , but as you say wtf is that on the first one :D

See, always 30 and 50, also that car has one at 130kmh, is it from a country with a 130kmh limit?

but their are many speedo's which indicate max speed per gear.
