:thumbsdow feel as tho a part of me is missing my best mate was involved in a serious accident on A19 in the early hours of wednesday morningwhen i got to the hospital in middlesbough he just got out of surgary on one of his legs he currently on a life support machine needing 70% help breathing feel so gutted for his mrs and his 5yo son just keeping my fingars crossed he makes a full recovery the doctors said that he is young which should give him a better chance recovery

Karl i was exactly where he is back in '98 the dr's can do amazing things these days my thoughts are with you and his family

thank you every one affraid theres no change in circumstances and his condition is still critical this is still a huge shock to all his family and friends he drives at least 1000 mile per week has a bowl of tarmac for breakfast every morning just never expected this to happen a great guy with a huge heart just hope he pulls through

Sad news indeed. Best wishes for a speedy recovery for him. Hope things work out soon and it's true about the docs, they are amazing these days.

Sad news indeed. I bet that farmer had no lights on that trailer. Having just been to Devon for a week, the farmers dont seem considerate on the roads at all.

A guy a work just done that walked away with just damaged car and pride luckly. Just bounced of the central reservation.

no new news to disclose im affraid only today hopfully will be taking him off sedation pumping him with painkillers and letting him wake up they tryed this yesterday but soon as he started to come round he was chewing the air pipe in his mouth cutting off his air supply and when the nurse touched his leg he sprang forward so at least he still has feeling in his legs so they putting a tracker in his throte so he can't chew pipe so fingers crossed we should find out to what extent his head injures he's sustained they have removed the bolt in his head as they don't think the pressure wiil climb any more
