Just bought some parts & paying with a cheque (I know, i'm still stuck in the dark ages), went to the post office yesterday morning & wanted to send it so it would arrive today. DL size envelope (standard letter) containing a cheque (normal size, not novelty) & also a compliments slip, being sent from one side of England to the other. Guess the price........

I would say about a fiver for royal mail special delivery, and 1.20ish for 1st class recorded

ah crap, forgot it was to be delivered on a saturday. Pricey, but worth it for piece of mind. Next time just send the payment by online bank transfer :p
