Help! Check engine

Hey,

e39a galant vr4 check engine light comes on wondering which sensor is faulty or not working properly.
Check connector is not wired in because the car has been rewired, car seems to lack in power gains boost but dosent go anywhere in a hurry. Idle is not steady tends to fluctuate a bit until warmed up.

Anyone know what could be wrong? Or which sensor is playing up?

sounds like an issue with your 'rewiring' buddy

knock sensor unplugged/faulty will do this, eng check light on and will retard timing..
