Has anyone installed their amp under the passenger seat and screwed it in? Just wondering if there's anything important I'm likely to hit if I make a couple of holes in the floor...

Why screw it down when you could use good quality velcro?

I agree. I've used velcro to secure the amp in my last 3 cars without any problems at all.
Under passenger seat is a good location. I couldn't do it in the Legnum though cos there's some jap unit already there, wired to power, complete with some jap CD thing inside. I guess it's the multimedia japnav thing.

I have one under both of my seats(4 channel under the passenger and a mono under the drivers).

As above just use good quality velco and you will be fine. :)

If you lift up the flaps of carpet at either side, you'll see there's already a bracket with holes in that you can use for mounting. It's not in the best of locations, but might work out.

Mine is pretty much exactly as high as the space under the passenger seat, so I just jammed it in there :P

under the boot floor there is a handy space. if you dont use it much it fits amps nicely in, iv got 3 in there, next job is to cut out some holes and put some grills as vents.

Yeah I reckon one under each front seat would be good, with a good set of components in the front doors, should be able to get decent sound without going too mad!!
