Circlip at rear of the autobox

Just been reading about the inherent weak spot on the tiptronic gearbox.
Where the circlip can become loose and result in a very unhappy gearbox.

Anyone fancy taking pictures of the offending area so it can be noted for other members to see and be aware of?

:sad3: I did mean to get some photos of the damage, and the shiny new looking box after fix, but I didnt get round to it.

I will contact my gearbox man, to see if he kept any of the nasty bits, but I doubt he will still have them.... (he was so pissed at having to push the car in and out of his small workshop each day for 4 weeks, that he was glad to see the back of her... :$ )

Done a superb job though... and what a decent price as well... :-D
