good luck finding decent nick 2nd hand teins, i tried and just got shafted ending in a lot of swearing, hence why im forking out the extra 400 and getting new ones which are better anyway

Theres a reason why we are buying teins.

They are known to be one of the best. GAB's you throw away when the start leaking, Teins can be refurbished over and over.

As with life, you pay for what you get, do it cheaply, you will end up paying again. trust me, been there done that.

your gabs were made to make the car more sportyin the handling, where as the teins i had (low down spec cool style master) were to lower the car and retain comfort, we have had this argument and im not getting into it again q, its not just the brand its the model too such as bc they have gold and red series, tein have so many different ones its not funny.

D2's are pretty crap. Some Tein's are outstanding and others are only average.

I bought a set of BC coilovers from these guys for another car & can't fault them at all. Good adjustability, quality & pretty firm too! :)
There's other makes on this page too but they're all around about 6-700 quid anyway
