Finally!

1/4 mile (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6BvljEhQVk)

not a perfect run, but 13.6@110 is ok for a first effort on an untuned engine!

Yup, very nice indeed & a good time too! I saw a Turbo Technics converted Brooklands Capri for sale just last week, still looks awesome to this day :)

The time was a long way from where it should be.........the terminal was ok, but limited by the gearing, I have a new diff ratio on its way!

Here are the full stats:

60ft 2.6020
330ft 6.3249
1/8 9.2117 @ 87.03
1000ft 11.6216 @ 101.94
1/4 13.6599 @ 110.15

I thought looked a bit sluggish off the line. That 60' time must be easy to improve on!

The 60ft was pants, the 330ft was pants and the 1/8 time was pants! The speed at 1/8 should mean around a 7.5-7.8 which would lop as much as 1.5 seconds off the 1/4 ET. I may have an 11 second capable car ;)

Interestingly the Wallace racing calculator suggests that the 0-60 time based on the 1/8 mile time and speed is 4.8 seconds...........No way did it hit 60 in 4.8 seconds! However 30-100mph was probably quite swift!

Just got myself a trailer so now I dont need as much plannig for a weekend at the track!

Also in the process of fuel injecting it as tuning carbs just doesn't appeal - not sure where to stick the wideband at the moment though, I dont want to buy 8!!! ;)

Great to see this project up and running. Take it is the one I saw at your place all that time ago? Good luck with it all - keep us updated.
