enigma
15-09-2004, 12:18 PM
OK, it seems people still want these and I should be able to extend the range of pipes offered to include the VR4, V6 Sport, and GLS.

I am not willing to buy the flanges before getting 10 orders as it puts me well out of pocket, so as soon as I get 10 lots of money I will go in to mini mass production of 10 pipes!

Interested parties below please! Indicate your preference of VR4, V6, or GLS and PM me for payment details.

You may want to hold off payment until I have 8 or so names..........

De-cats

1. Scottish Ian (GLS) (paid)
2. Legnum Boy (VR4) (paid)
3. Kieran (Hordak) (paid)
4. NevGroom (VR4) (paid)
5. strangebat (VR4) (paid)
6. john_cfx (GLS) (payment pending)

I think Ive got a silencer there instead of a cat pipe. Can you remember when you looked at it Dave?

enigma
15-09-2004, 02:11 PM
Bal, you are on the list because you expressed an interest in batch 3! The gains will be 2-5bhp on your GLS and a much nicer noise from the exhaust!

Rich, I cant say I noticed a cat under your car, there were 2 large silencers though.

zentac
15-09-2004, 02:58 PM
no theres no CAT but I think theres a silencer decat pipe in there instead (if you see what I mean!)

Yes please (2002 VR4)- What are payment details? What benefits? Where can I get it fitted?

Nev :dozey:

simpsonm
17-09-2004, 03:35 PM
Fitting is straight forward unless yer bolts are seized like mine were.

You can do it yerself as its only 4 bolts. You will need two cat gaskets (I got mine from Mits).

If you don't want to do it yourself then a local garage would be able to do it. Bout 20 minutes work altogether.

Big Ian
04-11-2004, 12:46 AM
DAVE,hear are the size's for a GLS De-Cat.......

the cat on a GLS is straight from end to end.
full length of cat (at each furthest part) 42cm or 16.5".
both flanges are at exact same position on each end.
center bore of the gasket is 57cm or 2.25" (2 and one quarter inch)
dead center of bolt hole's on the gasket are 9.6cm or 3.75" (3 and three quarter inch)

i'll post a pici of the gasket in a min...anything else?
(ive alter'd the pici to almost the actual size)

Does that sound right?

When are you planning to make some more? Cheers mate

Sorry to hear about that mate... That's odd - Dennis just hisses and yowls angrily if I try and rotate him at about 3000 rpm.... He doesn't rattle though..... Mind you, if I let go, that would probably kill him too..... I still think he would go SPLAT rather than rattle though?! :rolleyes4 /yes
