Noticed i have tinted lens for my interior lights and i mean all interor lights in the roof.. Is that some factory option or after market thing?

I must admit they look pretty damn mint.

sorry for this noob question.

Not factory as far as I'm aware. But not that difficult to do I guess. Does it dim the lighting too much though?

all my bulbs seem to have blown, now its dark when i leave work got a work mate to knock these up for me, should be brighter than standard and less chance of draining the battery as minimal juice required. Its a standard feston bulb with feed taken to 8 LED's on seperate board. Hopefully sort them out one evening when I can actually work out how to get the bloody covers off, just seems to start pulling out of the roof lining then get stuck!!

You can already buy LED interior bulbs like that :p
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/9-LED-31mm-Interior-Festoon-Bulb-Xenon-WHITE-UK-4-6-8-/270655926293?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f0459b015
There are also different sized with different numbers of LEDs.

The tint's in the lenses are standard factory type as far as i know they all have them.

the lighting assembly in between the front to seats in the roof will easily come out if you take the screws out that hold it in place. prize the lens off with a small flat bladed screw driver in the notches provided. you should then be able to see the screws.
