Finally took the plunge today, and plumbed in the apexi solenoid. Didnt cap anything off, just left the old hoses as is and plumbed in around them. I figured that the old solenoid will act as a cap when not plugged into the ecu, and so far so good.. :rolleyes5
Got setting (A) set at 0.9 Bar with a duty cycle of 65%.
(using BDA's post to zentac as a rough guide)
Hell of a noticable difference in push, although ultimately, I would like it just to boost the lower end of the rev range and taper off near top end.
With the unit set to OFF, the standard boost spikes have disappeared and the constant boost has dropped slightly to 0.45 Bar (down by 0.1) which must say something about the mitsu gear as it gets older..
Now messing with the start duty figures, as on several runs, I have recorded spikes of 1.2 Bar + (hit fuel cut once at 1.26 Bar :$ )
But, what can I say.... Chaps, A worthwhile investment in my books....
(now just wait for the post in a week or two stating that I have blown my engine up.... :p ;) )
