Has anybody ever tried to change a rear screen on a Legnum if so any advise would be greatfully receved.

I did lot of times. It's not an DIY easy job... I will advice to buy a new tailgate instead. The glue and tools will cost you more then 2. hand tailgate

But if you've already got a cutting knife for car windows, it's not that difficult :)

But if you can borrow the knife and buy some very cheap glue... Just remove all plastic around the window (inside and outside) and just do it /yes Half an hour is enough to remove it. And it's easier then windscreen, because you've got much more working space on tailgate

I have a spare tailgate with window if you want a 'test' unit, or a replacement if the first attempt goes wrong.

I'm thinking of doing this at the moment to move the factory privacy glass from my old car to my new one. I was thinking of taking both tailgates to an auto glazier and ask them to do it.

How much for AutoGlass or similar to do it for you Rich?

Might be cheaper than you think.
