Boost gauge colors?

hi everyone i pulled out the mirror switch, now im having a hard time finding where to connect the wires to. the colors on the gauge is the basic yellow, red and black. i've been looking for threads but non gave an answer on which wire to connect where on the mirrors. thanks:seeking:

The black will be ground, the yellow will be Ignition and red will be constant voltage.. I normally tap the wires off the head unit wiring as its the same(ish) colors. I know there was an article that used those wires, but cant find it atm... sorry.

Hey bud. It's not a pro sport smoke gauge is it? Can't remember what i hooked my wires into but i remember havin an earth and depending on what colour wire you hook up, is the colour the backlight is. I didn't use a constant power supply though, only off the key.

It's in, followed the advise of candee. The wire colors matches with the one behind the stereo.. Thanks mate.
